Dr. Basch graduated from Knox College (cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) and earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati, where he also served as a clinical scientist studying neuropathic pain.

After completing his surgical internship and anesthesiology residency, Dr. Basch moved to Grand Rapids in 1994. By 1996, he devoted his career exclusively to interventional pain management, later joining Michigan Pain Consultants in 2003.

During this time, he expanded his work into hormone replacement therapy (HRT/BHRT), metabolic health, wellness medicine, PRP regenerative treatments, and aesthetic treatments that support natural, healthy aging. These services allowed him to treat not just pain, but the deeper drivers of aging, inflammation, and vitality.

With three decades of clinical experience, Dr. Basch provides care that is personalized, integrative, and truly restorative—helping patients improve how they feel, move, and age.
